Theres a problem I've been noticing. Premium-Only movies (P), which can only be downloaded or watched by people with premium access (obviously), are being rated by non-premium people, who give them LOW scores like 1s and 1.2s, so fourth, ONLY because theres no stream or filefront for them.

Example:
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=37441

and i found many other movies after noticing this, that the same thing happens. Non premium people down-rate a movie just because they can't download it. Not only should that be against the rules or something, but i ask the administration to make it so that premium only movies can only be commented by premium users.

thanks :top:

Those low ratings being left because of no mirrors are in violation of the Unjust Ratings policy and should be reported. It isn't likely for us to remove rating privileges because a movie is premium only. The author might be adding a mirror later on that day or a week from then. I feel we would rather want to weed out those type of people leaving comments/ratings like that so that we can make a better community.

But in his example, it has a person saying "stream?" and rating it 1. That means he is rating it 1 because it has no STREAM. Having a stream isn't some kind of procedure.

This happens on non-premium only movies as well. People rate it low because they had to download it directly instead of streaming...

It is still a violation. Any rating about the links provided by us or the author that are negative are against the rules.

i meant, isnt there something that can be put in place to automatically do this? If there is no public mirrors, and its a premium only movie, then only premium people can vote. However, if a public mirror is later added, then non-premiums would be allowed to vote.

It is possible, well anything is in php, but we want to find people flaming, trolling, unjustly rating, plain violating the rules so that we can clean up the community. Just simply report those comments and for the reason just say they rated the movie unjustly and they will receive a warning and eventually get their commenting feature removed if they continue to rate in that manner.
