Simple question for hunters, please?

Hi to everyone,

I have been lurking the forums for a long time, and while a friend of mine and I were discussing, something came up. In the Burning Crusade, the Hunter spell "Viper sting" (the one that drains mana) also drained while druids were tranformed into bear or cat form? (We both agree that in travel form did)

I am sure it didn't drain but he kinda doubts about it, can someone that played then confirm it?

It did not drain druids while they were in any form but Travel Form. Hence the constant shapeshifting during arena matches while pillar humping when faced against a hunter (like myself).
