Bah, I want to join but I doubt I'll have the time to :'(
But I'm really looking forward to see everyone elses submissions, and Chaosvex promo was really nice!

I'm entering, and I have a very special friend, who's also entering, that I want to beat sooooooo badly ^^. I won't tell you who he is, it'll be more fun this way. :P

Too bad the music royalty thing goes for drama movies as well :\

Isnt it possible for you to get permission from the author to use his/hers music though? :)

Would love to :P But the specific music in the clip I was going to use, would be solely from Hans Zimmer and I'd be in a rather risky situation if I highlighted the TotP movies and he didn't feel like allowing his music to be used in those. Besides from that I'm not even sure that Hans Zimmer owns the rights to his own music, but rather the movie companies and they would probably be hard to talk with in regards to this :)

It's a shame that it has to be different from the regular movie showcasing on WCM due to the money involved, but then again I understand fully that the admins don't feel like taking the chance in this case. Maybe I'll have time to put something else together, will see!

Was that added to the rules afterwards, or was I just ignorant that missed it? :)

It's a good rule, but it certainly makes things a bit more difficult :D

What a torture when the movie is done and uploaded and nobody can see it untill two weeks !!! I hate that ! :)
