A short "esthetic PvE" project showing the encounter with the Hallow's End Headless Horseman.

For once I've used some Vegas effects though I don't use to. Not that I just discovered them, but for once I thought they would really bring something to the video as I wanted to see it.

In my opinion, the soundtrack ("Dead kings rise" by the Misfits : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Misfits ) fits with the living dead knight resurrection thing ... though it doesn't really fit with the Hallow's End Headless Horseman background. But wathever, tons of videos out there have far more inappropriate soundtracks not paying much attention to the lyrics. And most of the band's topics and ambiences can fit withHalloween too. "Dead kings rise" is only available on the vinyl edition of the album "American Psycho" (1997) (that's why it sounds like vinyl ;-) and the ending generic song called "Halloween" is from the same band approximately 17 years earlier (different singer).

Remix by Necka

Necka didn't like the soundtrack of the original version, and some matters with the synchronisation as well.

So he asked me if I would agree if he did some kind of remix as a test, he took the orginal version Xvid file (not the Fraps recordings), some trailer music by X-Ray Dog ("Project X speed"), and made this.

Personnally, I usually avoid letting myself be influenced overheard trailer soundtracks and cinema and so on and make things in my own personnal style.
But this is good too anyway ;-)

For those who don't know : Necka is rather famous in the French WoW scene for the creation of the "Blow Trilogy" ( http://blow-trilogy.blogspot.com/ ).
He is now videomaker for "Millenium" guild ( http://www.millenium-source.org/ , http://www.gametube.fr/htmlContrib.jsp?id=millenium ), participated with exclusive videos to the CD-ROMs of a famous French video games magazine, and, if everything goes fine, he has another big WoW RP movie project on the way : http://www.gametube.fr/htmlVideo.jsp?id=O3Lq1VW3kGDxmOjcufCrX7O9Mz4=

I'll let you compare both versions ;-)
