OFFENSIVE GUILD

Looking for a new BC guild? Are you tired of playing with random players that don’t know anything about the game? You can’t stand the lag anymore? You like PvE as well as PvP? Well, we might have the solution for you!

1. The guild
’OFFENSIVE’ is a guild looking at being one of the best in Burning Crusade without spending our lives infront of the computer. We are 3 very experienced PvE & PvP leaders that just started a guild on a brand new server. We think that playing on a low population server gives us everything we need to play WoW perfectly. We won’t lag while trying to complete the hardest instances and we will get the best PvP with the new PvP system with all servers linked. We are looking for experienced players who enjoy playing in PvP and PvE as well. This means that you will be able to play in PvE to get epics, and to demonstrate it in PvP. We unfortunately aren’t looking for players that will just come to PvE raids or vice versa. We aspire to be one of the greatest families that WoW ever created.
Here are some guide lines about the guild:
- Language spoken: English and French
- Language used in raid: English
- Maximum members: 35
- Maximum per class: 4
- DKP: Bid system
- Communication: Ventrilo 2.3
- Minimal age: 18
- Minimal level: 60 (to gain member rank)
We want to have the best players so we have decided to take English and French speaking players. We dont want ANY LIMITATIONS on our players. This way, we can recruit the best of the best with good, winning attitudes. Unfortunately for the French players, we will use English as our main language in raids. We also decided to have a maximum of 35 members so that way we will be able to complete all the 20 men instances without having to deal with 9023 members. Our members will be very important to us, therefore, with fewer members, more time to satisfy them. That way, we are making sure that everyone is happy with the guild and the decision taken by our guild leaders. We will have a maximum of 4 per class, so that way you won’t have to wait 7 runs to get your gears. We will be swift, silent and deadly…

Huna: Shaman [The Poetic] (PvP Focus)
Dustey: Warrior [The Theorist] (PvE & PvP Focus)
Fast: Priest [The Financial] (PvE Focus)
Huna, is a poetic player that learns and play on his will. Sometimes he will be more of a healer, than more a damage dealer. He normally feels the game and play with it. This guy has ZG, MC, BWL, AQ20, AQ40 completed but he has never entered in Naxx yet. He also has a warrior full tier2, a priest full tier1 /w some tier2, a druid almost full tier1, and several lvl 40+.
Dustey, is a theory player that will learn through forums, videos or discussion while pvping or pveing with others. He can come up with a brand new talent tree each time he gets a new item. He has ZG, MC, BWL, AQ20 completed; he almost finished AQ40 and has the first two wings in Naxx done. He also has an almost full tier2 paladin, and a lvl60 rogue.
Fast, is our finance guy (selling, trading, buying). This guy will be charged to buy, sell, and trade everything we need in the guild. Accordingly, he will possess the guild bank. We’ve seen this guy making money out of money several times and that’s why we are going to give our guild resource to him. This guy has ZG, MC, BWL, AQ20 completed; he almost finished AQ40 and never been to Naxx. He also has a full tier2 priest, full tier 1 druid /w lots of tier2, and a lvl60 mage.
3. Hybrid class
Hybrid class includes shaman, paladin, and druid will be welcomed to play their chars as they want. You will never have to spec for the guild unless judged necessary, but be sure that this won’t be permanent. We will use feral druid, elemental shaman and dpsladin as long as players know their limits and help the guild on healing while doing damage. Limitation: you will have to get the healing gears even if you pretend to be a dps hybrid and vice versa.
We, the 3 guild leaders, played hybrid classes, and we think that hybrid classes were meant to be played that way. We will ask you to heal, dps and do whatever you can to prove that hybrid classes are more than just healers in a raid.
4. Loot system:
We are not 100% sure yet that we will use this system but we are working hard on it right now. We think that we will use a bid system. The system will be pretty simple and has a lot of advantage. You will gain point or dkp when you’ll be on time to the raid, when we kill a boss, doing a complete run, time spent there, etc. Than when an item that you need drops, you will have to bid on the item… the highest bidder wins it.
We pretty much like this system because it’s safe and everyone will get their items at the price they want to pay. We think that too many DKP systems are based on the common opinion and are in a way selfish. With a bid system, we hope that everyone will get their items in the order they wanted them.
5. Guild Ranks:
These are the official ranks of OFFENSIVE in order.
Chieftain: guild leader
Lt. Chieftain: guild leader
Alt. Chieftain: guild leader alternate chars
Veteran: members that helped the guild (they can watch the officers chat)
Member: members that proved to be a good addition to the team (main raiders)
Tryout: you will have to prove and maintain your desire to be the top
Casual: you will be demoted there if you can’t be there more than 60% R/Att.
Alt. Member: members alternate chars.
Muted: this will be your punishment for trolling on the guild chat
You all join as tryout, and are moved up as soon as you prove us that you are worth more than that. Some exceptions are made if we already saw you play or if you are a well known figure of WoW. Getting the member rank will grant you access to every raid of the guild. Members will be voted by the 3 leaders and other members. Veteran will be voted by leaders because of their devotion to the guild. Our members will have the access to our guild vault while others won’t, but be sure that we will help out tryouts and casuals too.
6. Advantages to be a member in offensive
Members in offensive will be considered as V.I.P. We want to make sure that you guys get the best out of your playing time so we will give you:
- Every potion needed for the raids
- We will pay the repair bill
- Aid you to craft, enchant your stuff
- You will all get an e-mail similar to this: [email protected]
- more to be discussed
All this for ‘free’. As mentioned before, members have access to the guild vault which is sponsored by Fast (our financial leader). When we told you that he was good, we were not joking, we will pay everything you need in order to complete a perfect raid with the bonus we will do with the guild vault.
