What's with WCM livestream? It's slower than Youtube or Google and for some reason lags my computer all the time. Why even have it at all

I beliieve it was a sort of failed experiment. It has higher quality but very slow. I prefer google video.

Atleast when I use it, it works perfectly. I just click it, wait 5 seconds and watch the movie.

The WCM Livestream has had its ups and downs. Mainly due to bandwidth stability issues. When strana posted this one of the servers was struggling with very bad bandwidth. It was only able to push out 5-10% of what it normally is able to.

Since yesterday it seem to be working normally again.

Strana and Ragnorok161 are welcome to post their impressions on how the stream is working for them now.

I'll check again but before I'd always have to wait like 10 minutes for a 2 minute video...

Edit: It's better but I still get buffering alot.

I will check the routing to you first thing on monday. Perhaps we can improve it. The streaming servers are located in Europe but from our testing the bandwidth should be enough to support US as well without any problems.

Check if there is any difference between streaming servers. They are randomly selected so you might need to try a few times to get a different one (stream.wcmprem.com and stream3.wcmprem.com).

Ok i'll try and it does work better, the problem with me is that it buffers and loads like 5% of the movie, then it plays, but while its playing it loads uber slow.

Which one works the best for you?

I find that both the servers seem to load at the same rate. For example I was watching Ghost 2 today and it was using stream (not stream3) and it buffered 22 times while i was watching the movie.
