I always read comments where people are generally comment:

"Nice music, not anything like that techno or rap crap."

This statement makes me laugh. I'd say a mere 3% of WoW movies I've watched have had techno or electronica in them and a whole less than 1% have contained hip-hop (Albis vid).

im a fan of all three genres (my first movie had orchestral music, and my second movie had metal.) I find variety to be a very good thing, but remaining consistant in each particular movie is very important to (going from screaming metal to say, techno, is a bad thing).

people who rate a movie bad becasue of a genre of music are just being short minded. That isnt to say music isnt an important factor in a movie, but genre should not be.

I think people who downvote because its not metal is sad. I like metal, and i listened to it alot in the past, but just because they got some other music in it doesnt mean that its a bad movie.

That's exactly what I'm saying, but I also find it ironic that people will thank a movie maker for not putting in hip-hop or techno or w/e genre it may be in the movie, when 99% of what's out there HAS metal.

bottom line i think, is that people shouldnt rate a movie based on the genre of music. the quality? sure. bad quality music, or just a very annoying sound should not be in a movie. but dont let your preferences for style effect your voting on the movie. I usually rate movies based on video quality, editing skill, content, and a few other things. i rate the movie basically, as a movie.

Alot of people who have rated my movies have just rated it by the characters class. Alot of people have also rated or commented on them that "the music is crap.. wtf is this music" or have just been extremely narrow minded about it.

99% of my videos contain techno. I refuse to put metal in to them because nearly every other video ive seen has got metal in it. So people are downrating movies probably because they are different. Cant understand it sometimes.
