Size and Quality

I am rather new to making movies so I'm not sure as to what size and quality i should be using.
I have been using just the default normal quality youtube option in Sony Vegas 9 in mpeg4 format but this got rejected as it wasn't high enough quality.
I use a 1024*768 screen resolution so any tips or advice?:confused:

Edit: Oh and btw, how on earth do I download the promo stuff? Do I need to be a Premium member? At the moment all it does is stream it to windows media player so any help is appreciated :D

Hello there!

To download the premium intros, instead of clicking directly on the link to them, right click the link and "Save Link As" and it will download to your computer.

Regarding quality, we allow a maximum of about 25mbs per minute. So if you're movie is about 10 minutes long, it shouldn't be more than 250mbs in total. This way the quality should be quite good.

Sweet, thanks a bunch. Now i have to go render again with promo stuff and at better quality!

I'll stick with sony's mpeg4 but this time at a much better quality :D
