since i couldn't see a sticky or a topic related to this, is it possible to zoom in gradually over time?

Sony Vegas 6.0 atm shouldve mentioned that.

In the event pan/crop you can create keyframes to zoom over time. Can move the slider in the bottom of the picture. So if you have it on normal zoom in the beginning and move the slider all over to the other end and zoom in to your desired level it will zoom gradually over time.
