A longshot regarding AE (DWP)

Hey people,

This is a rather long shot, but thought I might as well try! :P Dead Workers might know, listened to your pod and seems you know alot about AE as well!

I'm in the stupid situation that I made a large AE project with a bunch of compositions and I was unable to finish it off due to a couple irrelevant reasons - so I saved the project and went on with some other stuff - now, that's about 2 months back that I did this and now I need to get on it again - but where the heck is it? :P That's my issue - I know excactly where the corefiles for the project is, but when I search for relevant keywords that might lead to the projectname, nothing comes up.

This leads me to believe that I, in my foolishness, saved the project as part of another project, which basically means that I have no idea of the project name if that's the case. However, I know that somewhere on my computer it's still there and I was wondering if perhaps there would be some way to find it again?
What I'm aiming at is whether AE has a search function that could help or somehow a way of tracking corefiles to projects they're intertwened with in AE?

As I wrote, it's really a longshot and I'm prob just gonna have to redo it, but thougt I'd try :P If you know, it'd be awesome!

Search for the after effects project file extension, and then sort projects by size, and start going them through from the biggest to the smallest. You don't have that many different project files, so you should be able to go through them, no? :)

Arh great idea! :D I'll try it out - problem is that I in fact have approximately 200 projects in AE, but not that many of them are large :P I'll check it out, thanks!

We talk about this issue on episode 26! Thanks for the great question!
