Disgustingly slow? It used to run fine, and now it's (please do not cuss) slow.

Is it FF3?

I recently found out that windows limits the simultaneous connections to 10 or less due to the ever growing virus/worm infestation on the web. This is to help it slow down the spread of such infections and since windows is forced to do this it inevitably does slow down other things such as how fast a website loads as well. Microsoft might not suggest editing this, which you probably shouldn't. I have changed mine and the website loads instantly, in fact many websites are now much faster at loading.

Are you using OS X? There seem to be an issue with FF3 and Mac OS X that hogs 50% of the CPU power when visiting WCM. At least for me using FF3 and Windows XP the CPU is almost idle.
