What about a real homepage for authors ?
 

It may be a good idea to let people customize the viewauthor pages ?

Something like having a jpeg ont the top of the page, a thumbnail for each movie, the guest book somewhere next to that ?

And if you let me digress a little more :alberteinstein: a background mp3 ? a featured movie with a streaming window ? Personnal recommended movies ? background image ?

I have no idea what it means in terms of feasibility, but for most of it, :pcguru: it could be done like a movie presentation frame that you already can customize with html.

A customizable author page sounds like a very nice idea. About adding music in the background, that might not be a good idea though. There are a lot of international laws and things that would have to be done to allow that legally. We would literally have to get licenses for everything just to do it. Those aren't cheap.

Let's forget about the background MP3, it's not important at all. ;)
