Question about editting a video.

Ok I have sony vegas and I have a fraps video. What I would like to do is make it so my fraps'ed video plays the video and then at a certain point stop and display whatever is at the stopping point in a fashion similar to a still-photo.

I will try and do this with smilies...

.....sounds like you want something akin to a "video pause". Since people use alot of different editors, it's best to ask a general question about what you want to do, people will give a specific name for the action, from that you can just consult the Help menu of your editor. They always have really detailed Help search functions.

look for something like "video pause" "still" "insert pause", something like that.

Rightclick on the video clip, envelope, show velocity envelope or something like that, edit it as you see fit (0% is ofc a still)

Thank you so much, I used the envelope and it gave me the desired effect.
