Fraps questions
Hey, I was wondering what most of the "Pros" record their videos in fraps at?
I have noticed that I can record at 60fps on half quality with no lag (but then it looks like crap). Or I can record full quality anywhere between 25-35 fps and lag quite a lot. (which also makes it look like crap). After I compress the raw footage it looks a lot smoother but the quality (if done at half) still looks like crap. Any suggestions or comments would be very helpful especially is anyone know for example what Grim, Dahis, Neilyo etc. films their videos at. Because I'm tired of having crappy or laggy footage. You can also PST me any info. Thanks. |
Full/30ish is most common and usually considered the best.

Oh. It just seems very laggy and makes playing a lot more difficult.

you can always put it to halfscreen and reduce your fps, it dossn't decrease the quality THAT much.

You mean run WoW in windowed mode and record at half quality?

So based on your own personal experiences how does playing at 30fps while recording affect how you play?
|
This is how it works the more fps is kinda like resolution in away. the higher the fps pretty much the more "pixels you have" therefor higher quality most people run it on 30 because it looks great and plays well (with a lot of the newer computers)
Fps uses cpu to run it and ram got a lot of both of those and your pretty much set. |
