Full screen video on Linux
Have you ever even tried it? Because it sucks
Hi,
I'm using Linux, specifically Ubuntu, 10.10. Using latest Chrome (stable or dev or beta gives the same result), whenever I try to maximize the video (with your flash player) it never does a fullscreen properly. When clicking full screen video icon, it looks as it should maximize it, but it doesnt. At this point, I have to minimize browser, maximize it, so the video is playing in the video area. Then, I try to maximize it again and usually, the same thing happens. It usually takes around 5-10 retries for me to finally start watching movie in full screen mode. Firefox on the other hand, works ok. Before you blame flash/browser let me tell you Warcraftmovies is the ONLY page that I have problem maximizing movies. Everything else works as it should- vimeo, youtube, local flash video pages. This bug is around for very long time. I think since the time I switched to Chrome which happened last year (2009!). Please, make this work in Chrome in Linux too! |

Strange that it does not work on Chrome Linux. Could be it a a bug in the Chrome client for Linux?
