not able to upload movies to WCM
it seems anywhere between 0% and 40% ish my upload turns into a page that says cannot find server

ive tried 3 times now, but every time at about 38% my upload freezes and the the page turns into unable to connect.

As well, when i try to upload it again after that the upload doesnt even start. it stays on 0% and in order to try to upload it again and have it get to the 38% i have to delete my movie page and create a new one.

Also, when i try to "view changes" to my new movie page it takes me to the WCM home page. please help me

Looking in to this, I can not reproduce this myself and I don't see your name "Gebbatron" on any list either, what did you name your movie?

We are looking into this issue. It may be server hardware related.

Im having the same problem as of right now.

When i try to upload it sticks at 0 speed and percent.

I left it on overnight once and in the morning it was still 0.

At the bottom of mozilla it says
"Sending request to 89.238.137.34"

and never goes past that.

There was a harddrive failure in the server that you upload the movies to.
We've replaced this drive with a fresh one,
perhaps this solved problems with aborted or slow uploads for some of you

Hi there,
just signed on to upload my first video, but got exactly this issue...
I used Firefox first time uploading "Legendary vs. Kael'thas - HD.divx", it went to 53% and then it got freezed...
I retried it with Internet Explorer, it won't even pass 0%...
I deleted the movie entry, created it new, and then tried it with Internet Explorer.. 0%.
I renamed the file on my drive to "Legendary vs. Kael'thas.divx" and tried it with IE again.. 0% ... :/

Can you help me? ^^'

I'm also unable to submit my movie right now. It stays stuck at 0% on multiple computers and multiple web browsers.

My movie's title is "Pyrilus 2 SL/Ruin Gladiator" and the file name is/was "Pyrilus2_MQ.wmv".

I was unable to submit my movie via the upload link either (froze at 0%), but if I typed the IP of the uploader into my browser it allowed me to upload my movie, however I'm guessing that me doing it this way means it's not 'linked' to my movie on WCM.

The file I uploaded was Krymu4.avi (id - 63287), and the name of the Movie I submitted on WCM is "Krymu 4 - Rogue PvP"

Cheers

Hi I can't upload my video. However I could upload the video copy pasting the IP adress of the uploading page. So I don't think it is linked to my video's main page yet. I uploaded the video as unmercy vol.2 - leave no mercy. Thx

Same. Multiple videos, multiple computers (from multiple locations - home and work)... Been happening on and off for months. Upgraded to premium thinking it might give me an alternate upload location but still no good.

Used various combinations of IE 7 (Javascript on), Firefox, WinXP, Vista...

I'll keep trying. Every now and then, if I'm persistent, I'll manage to nab the lucky upload gremlin unaware and it actually works. But 90% of the time I'm stuck at 0% or it errors out midway thru.

EDIT: The movies actually upload... Or at least, I think they do. If you just let it sit, even though it says 0%, it will eventually come back with "Movie Submitted".

Then, once you go to your "Unreleased movies" tab, you'll see a red error message of "Error. Reupload movie." -- which really sucks.

Any admins, can you check to see what's going on? Did the movie get uploaded or not? What are my alternatives so that I can get my videos on the site? Can my two unreleased movies be switched to "mirror only" so that they can be approved without actually uploading a video (or until the uploading issue is fixed)?
