Do you know what the main bottleneck of fraps is? This guide simply says to use a separate hdd, lower your settings, or get better hardware. But it doesn't really say which hardware to get.

But I've played around with both and the difference is almost unnoticeable.

2. Like x264 above said. But I'd recommend using Xfire video record. It's allows you to record 30fps while playing...
