Fraps can only handle a max widescreen resolution...

Fraps can only handle a max widescreen resolution of 1280x800. Anything more and fraps will default to 'half mode'. So lower your in-game resolution.

I believe he suggested you record at 25-30fps under the assumption that you're playing at a higher frame rate. I agree with him tho, 20fps and high quality don't seem to belong in the same sentence....

There's no way to convert ventrillo VRF files to my knowledge.
