While we're on the subject... if you record while on widescreen for example 1280x800. Does fraps cut it in half or can it be fullscreened, anyone?

Fraps can only handle a max resolution of...

Fraps can only handle a max resolution of 1152x864 at fullscreen. Anything above that resolution will be cut in half. Since you're running 1280x1024 it'll be 640x512. As I see it your only option is...
