When it was reay nothing happened, no link was given. Probably my standard explorer settings do not work with this...

Ok. But in this case it's not really an advantage of google to be able to upload movies past 100 mb when they are downgraded to a smilar size to youtube-videos anyways (except of very long videos).

Aren't google videos automaticly downgraded in quality after you uploaded them?

Any special format recommanded to avoid it?
