I have a 500gb sata hdd too, it can take more than 60 fps of 1280x1024 so no that shouldnt matter.

I'd like to know what resolution youre playing at, and ask that you upload a test clip for me to look at. Thank you

edit: test clip in full screen please, even if it lags.
