Current recording programs can only record what you see, nothing more, nothing less. They cannot alter/mod your WoW game.
I've never heard of it working on Macs, but if you want to try it, yes you need specialized components but it seems like you have everything (intel cpu/chipset, ati card, etc.). Search up on google for a proper guide on installing Mac on your pc.
