Hello Guys

I was wondering how one might go about making a cool looking intro movie to start a kill video.

A great example of the type of thing im looking for can been seen on Nihilum's kill videos and also Last Resort's movies.

here you can see the use of some very nice particle effects and some 3d animation of the guilds name, this is the type of thing im looking to use in some of my future projects

So how would you go about making somthing like that? i understand it maybe very hard , complicated and time consuming but i was curious what software would be used.
