Okay so is it true that there shouldn't be any FPS problems (like FPS limited to 30) if I set my Fraps settings to 30FPS on a high performance pc...generally? I have experienced FPS issues when I have used this settings and I couldn't play smoothly. The only way was to raise the FPS in the Fraps settings and I could play how I am used to.

playing on 1680x1050 and recorded fullsize <- is this really a problem? because I don't want to record half-size, my videos shouldn't be only 840x525 . Any other possibilities to avoid this?
