1. Recording on half size with fraps makes it blurry from the start. Watch your original frapsed footage and check if that is blurry. If it is then record on full size. This is recommended if you want cristal clear quality in your endmovie.

2. When you downsize your resolution the picture becomes blurry. Although it's not all to much. When you put the bitrate up you'll still be able to read the chatbox. However if you want to see your movie cristal clear like you're ingame you have to render at the same resolution as your original footage and make sure fraps records on full size and not half size.
