I play on a decently sized monitor and have my resolution in-game set to 1920-1080. When I fraps, i fraps at 30 fps, full-size, at this resolution. The frames of the video are ok and the 30 fps isn't too bad on my eyes. I recently learned that a few people will play windowed mode with their game resolution at 1024-768 and fraps at a higher fps.

My question is: Is it worth it to play a windowed mode that is so much smaller than my monitor to get smoother footage? I wonder how long it would even take for me to get used to this tiny box in the middle of my large monitor.
