I hate STAGE 6 !!!!!!
What a nice surprise to see that all my videos uploaded on Stage 6 were removed in a raw.
This is not the first time they decide that a video is having too much succes and delete it for bandwith reason. But this time it's all the videos of my account that are gone. If I ever feel like uploading them again, I'll have to encode every single one of them once again. Encode them with a slighty different lenght so the site will not remember them. I already did it several times but now that they took out all of my works, I think I got better things to do.

Just curious, how much bandwidth did they use? I guess you would have to know the exact size and how many views you got.

For exemple, everytime Never Stay Tuned 2 was movie of the day on WCM, the deleted the file. There's no need to have a lot of downloads, something like 1500/day is enought for them to erase the file. Baron Soosdon was #1 in the stage 6 top rated videos (#1 on 30.000 videos) with "I'm So Sick" just before they decided to take out his work.
You can think this is happening because of some copyright issues, but some of my videos that were deleted did'nt have any copyright issues. I'll simply forget about them and wait for any HD streaming alternative.

On my side, I've never been able to upload any video on Stage6, it usually stop after 1% upload or so and the crash ...
(And anyway, I hate streaming compared to download. ;-) |

I would send a formal email to them petitioning a valid reason why it is getting removed.

I try so many times to contact them, but the bot answering is not clever enough. The only answer I had was another video deleted. Hey got nothing else to lose now ^^

Probably better to find another host like veoh or something. Stage6 is nice for hosting high quality stuff temporarily like full movies. I was able to watch American Gangster last friday morning(great movie btw). Then a couple hours later it got removed despite the fact it was up less than 24 hours heh.
