How to get recommended?

Couldnt find anywhere to put this... so it got here.

Ive seen some movies got recommended from start, and some later on.

How do you acctually get recommended?

Some get it from the start, and some later on depending who watched the movie and approved it. I won't go into the details about exactly how it works, incase I get a slap.

But anyway, the main thing is to make a great video worth watching, trying to show something different or something that's been done before, but better. =D

We choose manually what gets recommended, typically or how it should be is based on the movie moderator. Reasons for getting premium could be they liked the movie, thought it was unique, or possibly so outlandish people would like it. There are a number of reasons why one gets a movie recommended but it all boils down to our movie moderators.

does it mean if im uploading lets say an exploration video which was good enough to get recommended, and i get a mod that just hate exploration vids to approve it and stuffz, that i wouldnt get recommended? I think its a weird system that needs a fix

All recommendations are approved by our Movie Moderators and then Administrators I believe.

I am curious, with what suggestion DlouBent will come up now

I seriously see no better way than the one Valamir described. OK, if you take like. lets say 5000 Movie Moderators instead of, lets say 10, and then get the average "rating" of them.....well....now that I think about it....*runs to suggestion forum*

"..or maybe even 20.000..!"
