Originally a shaman for a little over two years, but he was permabanned right before TBC. No reason for the shaman there. Blood Elf Warlock when TBC came out, permabanned about a month after that, inspired by Drakedog. And now a Paladin, inspired by Applemask and Heratli of Thunderlord from old school PvP Rank grind days. No movies were released by them though I believe.

I remember checking out the pvp forums when I first bought this game a long time ago. And seeing a druid video named "gimped" from Feragho (if people watched it now they'd say how bad he sucked) but back then it was the everything for druids. Druid was cool way back when, the 9/11/31 spec before barkskin, frenzied regen, before OOC changes, it was a hard class to pvp with and I loved the idea of that. I think alot of druids who succeeded at pvp at that time were imitating the work of feragho and rubix, the founders of what it means to be a smart druid imo.

I started of as a night elf rogue, but had to reroll horde because of friends. I did some research and found out that I needed to have the succubus, the coolest thing in the game that was april 2005, and couple of weeks later I saw my first drakedog movie, made me proud of my class

Rolled a warrior due to Pat(aptly named my warrior Patyojon in honor of a great CS player)
Warlock due to Drakedog and Lokilo's last pvp movie(out of all of them, this one is my favorite lock movie ever, mostly due to the big numbers). Learned quite alot about the mage class from various videos, same with rogue. Never trully appreciated engineering till I 1st saw Vurtne's videos. And my shaman(my 1st char in WoW). Just no motivation to play on him except play once a week for arena pts . But I look back and Unbreakable, Sham, and other notable shaman vids and remember the good ol' days. |
