The size of your movie depends on different things.
the most important are 1) the used codec and it's quality (bits/second, resolution of your movie etc.) 2) the (time-)length of your movie what codec you use is a personal decision. I personal decided for my 5 movies to use a resolution of 1680x1050 pixels and the Sony AVC codec (creates mp4 files) with 6000 bit/s. If your movie isn't ~120min long 6,5Gb seem to be a lot too much. Depending on an average Bossfight or PvP Video from 10-20minuts you should try to get a filesize around 300 and 600MB. Just try a bit with different codecs and qualities. |

Compressing the video is also gonna help, but it won't suffice if your movie is 6.5 gigs, i use divx converter which keeps the quality and reduces the file size by up to 3 quarters, theres a 15 day free trial for it on their website. You may also need to drop your quality a bit when rendering. Not that i recommend it, but i use windows movie maker as its free and easier to use and the movie compression is pretty decent, got like 100 gigs of fraps'd clips into a 30 min 1.3 gig video and then used divx to get that down to 900 MB.
PS. you're in the movie dirtydawg... twice http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=124779 |

2. 6,5GB, you nearly deserve an award for making it that huge But on a serious note, just follow this guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNoMbtUypuA Its easy-mode tuto, and it's extremely good quality. Happy rendering. |
