New Extrenal Hard Drive, problems with Frapsing.

Hi,

recently I bought:

in order to take some stress of my system and have more space to record.

However, when trying to fraps to the location of the extrenal hard drive - /F - my game goes down to 0 frames per seconds and completely freezes. I can also not watch the video's off my external hard drive, but must copy them to my desktop in order to watch them.

I do not have windows installed on the external hard drive, I don't know whether this makes a difference or not. I

I've also put some films on the HD and pictures/files and they are all fine. I'm pretty sure it's formatted too.

Any ideas?
