Fraps in Full screen, but recording only half?

Hey guys, I don't know anywhere else to look for help but here.

I recently got fraps, when I record with the fraps setting on full screen in windowed mode it records, but goes from 40+ fps to only 10. Recording in half size keeps the fps the same, but after viewing the clips and then making them full screen the quality is not where I want it to be.

Now, when I record with fraps in half OR full screen, but not in windowed mode, my fps stays the same, but the clips only come out in half size.

I am completly clueless, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also reinstalled, deleted, resrted my computer, most anything I canthink of sadly.

If your resolution is above 1152*864/1280*800(wide):
single-core cpu, fraps older than 2.8 version, trial version, any of one may cause that.
If your resolution is below that,I think the third did.

No, its the full version, but it is only version 2.6.0, so that might be it. I run a dual core, so that crosses that problem out too. My resolution is at 1280x800(wide). So, after that im going to get a newer version in a bit, ill reply with my results, and thanks for the help.
