Yet another Fraps problem

Hello!
I know this is like the 1,000th fraps problem thread, but none of them (from what I've seen) have talked about a problem that I have.

So, this problem.. When I use a pretty old version like 2.5.0 my records is getting recorded in half size no matter what resolution I pick and the quality get really really terrible. I have full-size clicked in options..
Then I tried the newest version of fraps (2.9.4) and there I have another problem. When I'am recording in full-size and 30fps settings my fps goes down to around 15-20 and stays there, and when I put the records in Sony Vegas pro 8.0 I get an error that the format isn't supported.

My computer setup is:
Windows Vista premium 64-bit
AMD athlon X2 6000+
Geforce 8600GTS 512mb
4GB RAM
and so on..

So I would appretiate if anyone could help me with the problem

Thanks // Crawlix

Hi Crawlix,

I'm new to the forums and fraps but I was just wondering what resolution you play/record in. I think I saw some where that the older versions of fraps will cut your resolution in half no matter what if you are recording in anything higher than 1152 even if you have full resolution ticked. I also wanted to know if you use a secondary drive for your footage, a quicker drive can help with frame rates. Hope any of this helps.
