requriements for fraps

Hi

I got a AMD Athlon 64 dual core 3800+ with 1.5gig ram, and my gfx card is Radeon x700 SE with 512 mb memory.

I recorded with 60 fps and with the 1280*1024 resolution.

First problem is that when I hit the record button.. It hacks for like 5s then become normal. Is it supposed to do so?
Second problem is when I try to play it on WMP it hacks constantly.. evn though it was running smoothly ingame.

Anyone familiar with this problem?
