Voices of Others
I have had this problem for awhile, and it is bugging me just too much and I am tired of doing all the voices in my movies, it really is degrading them.
I was wondering, how do you guys get others voices in your movie? Without them coming to your house, and a easier more efficent way than sending files over AIM. I couldn't find this thread anywhere on here, so I hope I am not asking something already asked. |

For high quality recordings, those are you only two options. But if you don't mind the lower quality, then you could always record them on something like Teamspeak although I do not advise using Teamspeak.
I would use Ventrillo and use a 3rd party program to record them. |

have your voice talent use goldwave or soundforge. get a decent mic. record the lines, then send them to you. advise them to use a pop-filter to lessen the effect of hard consanents and hard sylabic words that create puffs of air. a bandana around the mouth somewhat like a bandit makes for a good filter while allowing you to get a rich sound while recording.
