Problems with compressed video and Vegas
I compressed a video using Virtual Dub into xvid format
However after I did that I was not able to put the file onto the video/audio tracks on Vegas Thoughts? |

im not 100% positive but I believe after you encode as xvid you are no longer able to make changes to that footage. I may be wrong but that is my understanding. It would be best to just use Vdub to trim your footage rather than actually encoding it though as to maintain quality before you get vegas involved.
Best luck in your movie making endeavors :] |
