help... cant save or finish movies

okay, so i'm new to this machinima making, and i just finished my first project. i'm using fraps for video recording, and windows movie maker for editing. also i used wow model viewer for the whole video just to get the hang of it. but now everytime i try to watch it in windows movie maker it crashes, and when i try to save to disk or cd it errors out and says it cant save the file. anyone have any suggestions or helpfull information.
