rendering
this might be a common question but i havn't seen this before
I rendered my movie last night, and the outcome was pretty good except for some laggy parts, I was told that I should improve my bit rate a bit and I changed it to 3.50 from 2.50, and then I tried to render a test clip where it had lagged before and now it was gone. But when I rendered the whole thing again with 3.50 bit rate the outcome turned out laggy again. |

Does it always lag in the same place?
If yes: Probably lag in the source footage (nothing you can do) if no: Your computer cant playback the video because its doing something else, plenty of stuff running in background etc, defragmented harddisk, something along those lines. |

yeah what thiras said, maybe some stuff running in background.
When i have to render i allways shutdown skype, msn etc etc, all the other software running may make it lag.
