For the love of god, answer

Hello,
I spent a lot of time and effort making a movie.

I encoded it in h264 codec with MeGUI, DVXDA HQ Template, 4300 bitrate.
1280x1024 resolution, 30FPS.

The movie did not get approved because of the quality.

I dont want to throw several MONTHS of work away.

Is there a possibility of getting more quality for this movie, maintaining a reasonable filesize?

I am not sure what the maximum amount of mb/s is for movies in here, a sticky says its 25mb/s, mine was 30mb/s, I see some movies with 40 or 50 mb/s...

In my opinion, the quality is already really good and I tested THOUSANDS of rendering methods (Nolans, different MeGUI templates, different codecs, a bunch of guides) and came to the conclusion that my way was the best one, but if it is not enough for wcm, I really need help how I can make the quality of my movie good enough for this site.

I just cant throw away this movie, I've put SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY into it...

help me out!

Alright, I'll start uploading it right away.

Thanks a lot that you take this extra-time to look into it once more.

If the quality for some reason I cant think of does not satisfy you again - what is the absolute maximum proportion of filesize:lenght you accept here on wcm?

I ask this, because the only thing I can possibly think of to make the quality higher is to increase the bitrate, which means increasing the filesize... Everything else is just at the absolute maximum. WoW settings on MAX, Fraps captured at fullscreen @ 30 fps, rendered with lagarith losseless codec once in vegas and after that an additional 2pass render in MeGUI with settings that i optimized specifically for my movie (involved several days of testing).

We could go as high as ~40mb/minute, but that is very rare and the standard of that video needs to be very high.

Your submission is now released, hope you enjoy the time in the spotlight!
