3D text question

I asked this question on several gfx boards, but didn't receive a propper answer, maybe someone here knows something:

I'm looking for a tool/plug-in to create 3D text easier than manually with photoshop (it can be done, but it takes ages)

I tried both xaos and vertigo hottext for photoshop, but both use to crash with photoshop 7.

If you didn't get a answer on GFX Boards, you won't get one here.

Try to use some of the free programs like Ulead 3D.

thanks thiras, blufftitler looks great.. I tried out ulead cool 3d studio, but it's rather average.. but thanks to the guy, too
