Improvements
Considering the high amount of people visiting this site dayly, I personally feel that you (the admins) owe it to your paying customers to improve some of the features presented on the site.
Video Commenting The comment system is pretty horrible. There's no option to edit or even delete your comment. It's not possible to make <br>'s or show a larger amount of comments at once. I understand that these last two are limited because of trafic reasons, but there should still be an option for it. The Stream The new stream that came with the new design is also pretty weak. Apart from the very slow streaming speed, there's quite alot of flaws in terms of design and functionality. The pop up control bar is pretty buggy. Sometimes when you go from fullscreen to normal the progress bar stretches over the entire screen. The volume control is also very hard to adjust properly. These are just some examples. The whole thing should be redesigned to something simpler that works. Premium Servers This isn't exactly a matter of design but rather a matter of money spent on FTP bandwidth. I guess the routing differs from country to country, but I for once, residing in sweden, often experience well below acceptable speeds. 100 kb/s isn't something unusual. It's also very unstable and often hover between transferring fast to close to nothing. Thanks for an overall great site and thanks for reading! I also found a couple of bugs yesterday: 1) Every movie that you mouseover in the Movie Browser seem to get litten. Doesn't look intentional and it wasn't like this a few days ago. (Seems to be fixed!) 2) It seems like whenever you type "<" in a video comment (like in "<3"), the comment gets cut. Last edited by ReactoR : 09-11-2009 at 12:33 PM. |

Hi Reactor,
We're going to push out a new site shortly so most of our guys on the tech department is very swamped with work, however we're collecting all the feedback you guys send us. Some of the biggest setbacks when we released the new design is already taken care of and next push we will work to improve the remaining. The stream system we have now with the new design is outsourced and I have already connected a developer to your comments about flaws in it. the two bugs will be looked in to asap too. Thank you for your concern ReactoR, without it the community wouldn't be where it is today!

Something that really, really has to be changed is the comment rating system. What's the point of making downrated comments less visible when it only effect thoose comments who didn't like the movie? Completely pointless. It's like you're not allowed to dislike a movie.
