Machinima Research Project - Participants Wanted.

Hello Warcraft Machinimators,

I am part of research group based at De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), currently exploring cultural aspects genre - and are looking for artists who would like to share their views on the cultural values associated with machinima.

WoW movies are one of our primary areas of interest, as its machinimators are not responsible for some of the best work - but also form part of a unique , active community. We will soon be conducting interviews and focus groups (some face-to-face, some on line - so worldwide participation is encouraged!).

So, we would like to hear from any WoW machinimators who would be willing to give an hour of their time, to answer a few questions and participate in discussions, which would really help us with the project.

This is a bona-fide university project, supported by the UK arts council. Project leader Dr Tracy Harwood, has been researching Machinima since 2006 and hosted on of the first European machinima film festivals the following year.
