Login information stealing attempts / impersonating blizzard
I registered to warcraftmovies.com a few years ago, probably back in the days of vanilla wow. When I did, I used the same method as I always do, using my "catch all" email account and giving the username of the site (eg. [email protected] ). Lately I've been getting a lot of login info spam emails telling me to log in to a clearly not a blizzard website to give me my infos. *All* of these mails are sent to the warcraftmovies.com@... -address.
With a simple google search I was unable to find any webpages that give out this information, so either warcraftmovies (or the rest of the <game>movies.com -stuff) has been hacked or someone has sold the emails further on. Also, the links at the bottom of warcraftmovies.com are invalid. They are in the form of ...html/&getvar1?getvar2 where questionmark should be first and then &s. At least latest version of Opera gives an "invalid-url" error from this. Just FYI |
