Error playing downloaded videos

I'm having problems with playing the videos I download...I use any of the Premium U.S. servers, and it downloads ok, but when i try to watch it it goes into Windows media player, says error with codec, and just plays the movie. Also, if it has anything to do with it when I right click the movie name in WMP it says under Media Usage Right the file is missing usage rights...it has happened on more than one or two vids
