FRAPS forces down my FPS to the recording FPS. Bug or working?
My rig:
c2d 8800 gpu 4g memory Vista x64 Ultimate FRAPS 2.9.0 In wow i have all settings at max and screen size is 1280*1024(optimum res for monitor) In fraps i use full size and FPS at 20-50. Anyways the problem is that when i start recording wow goes down to the FPS that fraps is recording in making the game unplayable. So i'f im recording @ 30 FPS then thats the framrate i get ingame aswell. I upped the FPS to 50 and i got 50 fps ingame. But then the filesize got huge rather quick. Is this working as its supposed to be or not? If not, what have i done wrong. Thanks in advance. |

Working as its supposed to.
If your game was running at 50 fps and you were recording at 30 fps at the same time the footage would be choppy since itd have to skip frames here and there. edit: vista = lol. even reaching down to 20 fps with a 8800.. |

Guess it will be hard to record a movie if i have to play in 30 FPS since for me its unplayable at that framerate. Cant see myself getting used to 30fps really. |
