Fraps Issues (Resolution)

Hey again!

My newest problem is that I don't know what the heck is going on.
I usually Fraps with a Monitor and game resolution of 1600x1200 fraps at fullsize
never had any problems with that flawless quality. But now it's like... well it kinda looks like shit. yeah. shit. The game and monitor resolutions are at 1600x1200 I fraps and the file has a resolution of 800x570, when I set it to half size it's pretty much the same looks like shit and has a resolution of 800x570

When I take a screenshot at 1600x1200 it looks awful but If I turn down the resolution to like 1024x768 it looks just like it should look (1600x1200) BUT this does NOT work with frapsed footage

So basically I need help on how to Fraps with good quality again (model/map viewer included)

Hope I'll find some help here again

Do you have a single core or dual core CPU?

afaik FRAPS can't record much over 1024 x 768 without being on a dual core system

On single core processors it automatically renders in half size if you try to go too high

Seems like I have a single core but even on the lowest resolution it won't work :/
