Widescreecn resolution codec for fraps

Hey,
I'm new to movie making and I have had some trouble with rendering my movies in Sony Vegas. My screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio so whenever I try to use one the codecs in Sony Vegas I can't seem to find one that doesn't mangle the texts on the screen. All the codecs I found are for 4:3. Any suggestions?

Codecs aren't "for" anything, you just need to set them up properly. See the stickies.

Make sure your project setting uses a 16:10 ar and that the codec settings use the same.

Thanks for the advice, I been looking more closely at the footage and I don't think its the codec anymore. When I play the raw video the text appears to be distorted too which makes me think fraps just really doesn't like recording half-size 1680x1050.
