Zoom and Shake Effect

Say I'm making a pvp video and I want the video to suddenly zoom in on a crit and have the picture shake around a bit and then go back to normal. How do I do this!? I'm using Sony Vegas 7 and I cannot figure out how all the guys do it in their videos

don't know about vegas, in premiere it can be done by adding a "motion" maybe there's a similar option in vegas

best solution for this is a compositing program like after effects, because you can shake very easily and for example can mirror the edges so you don't have to zoom in first.

use pan /chop. (Based on keyframes)
