Rendering shutoff 5 times

Right, so I normally render quite perfectly and fine, but today... Well let's say 5 attempts with Sony Vegas shutting down when halfway through the rendering process really tests my patience.

So I'm starting to think this isn't a coinsidence. I've tried to walk away from the computer 3 times, and repeatedly been forced to return to a program, that has stopped responding.

Why is this - Anyone got any ideas? My hard discs aren't full in any way, so that is surely no the problem.

Edit: Today it has gotten even worse. It can't even start rendering anymore before Sony Vegas stops responding. I'm desperate for help here!

Hey man,

I remember I had the exact same problem a few years back, and this solved my problem:

Go to:

Options --> Preferences

Select "Video"

Put rendering threads to 1, or just try out something
different than what you already are using.
