Top Rated this Week

The top rated this week list confuses me. For instance, "Creato - Episode2.Thunderfury" was on the list as having a 4.79 rating but when I clicked on it, the rating was 4.61.

I thought that the list just didn't update instantly at first, but another movie "Holymoly: That Hurts" on the Storyline top 10 list is shown as having a 4.67 rating but when clicked displays a 4.76 rating. And it hasn't been on the list all week even though it's been higher rated than a lot of the other stuff on there.

It just seems like the list is rather erratic. How exactly does it work?

I think the system only calculates the rating shown on the main page from ratings in the past week. When you click on it, it shows the total rating average.

Correct, the "top rated this week" only takes ratings placed during the last 7 days into consideration when calculating the avg.
